Workshops

You're invited to experience a nomadic way of life in one of the beautiful countries of Central Asia. Kyrgyzstan is the obvious choice whether you are visiting or thinking of participating in a Central Asian handicraft workshop.

Workshops are conducted by skilled crafts masters and include practical training, raw materials, necessary toolkit, informational hand-out materials and at the end of the workshop you take your finished handicraft items home. And, of course, you will have a chance to make the most of traditional nomadic cuisine and listen to the folk music.

You'll never forget this experience!

Various one-day workshops can be conducted in the capital of Kyrgyzstan almost any day as long as there is a group of 3 people. Or you can take part in big workshops, for example yurt or felt carpet making, which last from 7 up to 12 days. You will combine learning and recreational activities.

The geography and workshops have been steadily expanding which is the result of increasing interest in the undiscovered Central Asian culture and crafts. Central Asia will be a new tourist destination in the nearest future.

Be the pioneer in discovering Central Asian handicrafts and culture!

They will hear from rich experience, get needed skills, informational materials and hand-outs and of course friendship since our trainers are craftsmen themselves most of whom started from a scratch and with support from CACSA they have developed their potential and improved their prospectives.
